RubberForm’s Portable Electric Cable Support Tower, or PECST, is a portable cable support engineered by safety and construction workers after the realization that traditional wooden cable hangers were unsafe and not cost effective. Safety practices include the process of keeping electric cables off the ground and away from human contact. This safety practice is required to avoid the risk of contact with a person and completing an electrical circuit. This can happen whether a contractor is standing on the ground and touches an electrical cable, or if the ground itself is in contact with an electrical cable.
Cables, cords, and hoses that are ran on the ground violate NEC Codes and OSHA Regulations and are subject to substantial fines. Made with our durable rubber base and fiber-reinforced plastic poles and antlers, our cable support towers are completely non-conductive. Our PECST’s are truly one-of-a-kind, patented product you will not find anywhere else.
