Product Description

Cracks in a concrete curb are like rings in a tree–they tell you how old it is. But concrete, unlike trees, is ugly in every season. They should be repaired every spring and replaced when they crumble, but they rarely are. The result is ugly, ineffective, unsafe curbs after just a couple years.

RubberForm Engineered Traffic Curbs outperform and outlast any concrete curb. They won’t chip, warp, or spall. They’re simple to install, remove, or relocate as needed. They require no maintenance, and they’re fully modular: if for some unthinkable reason one section fails, it’s easy to replace.

We can also custom engineer our traffic curbs to fit your specific requirements.

Our curbs are made from heavy-duty 100% American recycled composite material. That means it’s designed to endure heavy traffic, searing heat, frigid cold, and extreme weather: wind, rain, ice, and snow.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What's the difference between your Engineered Rubber Curb and Engineered Traffic Curb?

They’re very similar, but the biggest difference is that the Traffic Curb is a solid piece, closer to the shape of a traditional concrete curb. The Rubber Curb is rounded, can be mounted by vehicles, and flexible enough to be formed into curves (like for a Mini Roundabout).

What happens if one of the curb sections breaks?

Our Engineered Traffic Curb is made from 100% recycled composite material, and our Engineered Rubber Curb is made from 100% recycled rubber. Neither curb will chip, crack, crumble, or corrode in the heat, cold, or heavy traffic. If you somehow still manage to break a section, that's no problem, our engineered curbs are fully modular. Just remove the broken piece and install a replacement. If you need replacement sections, just call us to place an order.

How do I anchor your engineered curbs?

We offer a lag bolt anchor mounting system consisting of a lag bolt, plastic lag shield, and washer to anchor into pavement or concrete. There are 3 anchor holes for each engineered curb section. For installing the ETC on dirt or gravel, we offer forged spikes for mounting.

Can I use your Engineered Rubber Curbs for something like a small roundabout?

You absolutely can! Our Mini Roundabout uses our ERC for that exact purpose. You can also construct chicanes, bumpouts, or curb extensions with our ERC.

Could I use your engineered curbs to delineate street lanes?

You can. We also make dedicated Bus Lane, Bike Lane, and Street Defender curbs (Street Defenders protect against street takeovers or sideshows) for that purpose.

Are your engineered curbs truly made in the USA?

We are the only true U.S. manufacturer of recycled engineered curbs. We source all our recycled materials domestically, which means we're helping clean up our backyard. We also design and manufacture all our products right here in Western New York, because we believe in American ingenuity and hardworking American hands.
