Product Description

An all-way stop is a tragedy. And traffic lights aren’t much better. The whole point of roads is to go, but these all-way stop intersections force everyone to stop (and likely just a rolling stop). Roundabouts are practically magic by comparison: 37% reduced traffic collisions, 90% fewer fatal collisions, 89% reduction in delays, and 56% reduction in vehicle stops, according to Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) studies.

The problem is roundabouts are a pain to build into an existing intersection and can be expensive. You have to close the road, excavate it, pour the cement, install new signage, mark new lanes, and clean up all the mess that you just made.

Our RubberForm Mini Roundabouts (Mini-RABs) make it blessedly simple to transform almost any intersection. Installation is easy: no digging, no heavy machinery, no specialized training needed. Removal and relocation is easy too.

Our 100% American recycled rubber and plastic composite material is tougher than any concrete or asphalt alternative. It won’t crack, warp, or spall, whether from the searing heat of the summer sun, the frigid cold of North American winters, or the impact of heavy vehicle traffic.

Be guilt-free as you modernize your traffic flow and keep your citizens safe, all while cleaning up our shared backyard.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Are your Mini Roundabouts truly made in the USA?

We are the only true U.S. manufacturer of recycled mini roundabouts. We source all our recycled materials domestically, which means we're helping clean up our backyard. We also design and manufacture all our products right here in Western New York, because we believe in American ingenuity and hardworking American hands.

Can I use your Mini Roundabout sections for anything else?

You absolutely can! We make our mini roundabouts from our Engineered Rubber Curb, which will replace any concrete curb as well as make chicanes, bumpouts, or curb extensions if needed.

What's the difference between your Mini Roundabout and Engineered Rubber Curb?

They’re the same product! Our Mini Roundabouts are made out of our Engineered Rubber Curb.

How do I anchor your Mini Roundabouts?

We offer a lag bolt anchor mounting system consisting of a lag bolt, plastic lag shield, and washer to anchor into pavement or concrete. There are 3 anchor holes for each mini roundabout section.

What happens if one of the curb sections breaks?

Our Mini Roundabout is made from 100% recycled rubber. It won't chip, crack, crumble, or corrode in the heat, cold, or heavy traffic. If you somehow still manage to break a section, that's no problem, our mini roundabouts are fully modular. Just remove the broken piece and install a replacement. If you need replacement sections, just call us to place an order.

How do I fill the space in the middle of the Mini Roundabout?

Our Mini Roundabout sections are stable as installed, so the center can be left empty. You can fill it with stone, back-fill it with asphalt or concrete. We’ve also had customers fill the space with dirt and plant a garden!
