Product Description

Traditional methods of building curb ramps waste time, manpower, resources, and money that would be better spent delivering your project on time and under budget. Our RubberForm Curb Ramps are blessedly simple: no cutting the curb, no digging, no gravel, no asphalt, no constant maintenance, and no messy cleanup.

Installation is easy: place the ramp where you want it. Removal is the same, and each ramp has built-in hand grips for easy transport. Our 100% American recycled composite ramps are durable: no chipping, warping, or spalling due to heavy use or inclement weather. That means you can use and reuse our ramps at jobsite after jobsite for decades.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What size pipe & hose ramps does Rubberform manufacture?

We have 3 sizes: a 1.5” hose ramp for a garden-type hose, a 2” pipe ramp for a Schedule 40 pipe (2 ⅜” OD) that can also fit up to 3” OD pipe or hose, and a 4” ramp for up to a 4.5” OD pipe or hose (originally engineered for Yelomine™ and Aquamine® pipes).

Do the 2” or the 4” pipe ramps need to be anchored down?

That depends on the application and your requirement. Generally, they do not, just lay down and place your pipe or hose into the open slot. Our 2” pipe ramp weighs 36 pounds and our 4” pipe ramp set (2 ramps that interconnect and bolt together) weigh a total of XX pounds each and are generally stabilized by the newly patented dovetail connector. However, in municipal road uses, they should be screwed or moored in place so not to be dragged out of place. Please take note of vehicle ground clearance and make sure you use signage of a X” ground clearance needed to drive-over these “in-road” pipe and hose ramps. If they need to be anchored in place, we recommend the GRK’s RSS™ Rugged Structural Screw or similar mounting device.

Do your pipe & hose ramps connect side-by-side?

Our 1” and 2” ramps do not. However, our 4” pipe & hose ramp has a dovetail to hold each ramp together and span any width needed. Just lay the 4” side-by-side, insert the dovetail in a row. The hard pipe you place underneath will also hold them in place.

How many pounds of pressure can these pipe & hose ramps withstand?

Our 2” pipe ramps are extruded with TPV Thermoplastic rubber and are construction rated. Our 4” is injected molded with TPO Thermoplastic Recycled Composite material and is also construction rated for 34,000 lbs. per axle. They have been tested and used daily with large construction vehicles and large emergency vehicles.

Will your pipe & hose ramps support the inserted pipe or hose?

On the 4” yes, as the pipe or hose is in a tunnel. Our ramps will disburse and hold the pipe in place as the vehicle rolls over the ramp and inserted pipe. Please see this video for a demonstration.

How does your 4” pipe & hose ramp fit together?

Our 4” pipe ramp system consists of 2 interlocking pieces, bolted together (4 bolts per complete set). Each ramp is modular as well and has a dovetail interlock to connect to span any width of road.

What is the standard length of your 2” and 4” pipe & hose ramps?

The 2” and 4” pipe ramps come in 36” (or 3’) sections. We can custom extrude the 2” ramp from 3’ up to 8’ if needed.
