Joe Probst
Director of Engineering
If Joe doesn’t innovate and problem-solve, then a ton of our best ideas never get realized and obstacles never get surmounted. That’s because he’s our Director of Engineering. Now Joe is as disciplined and detail-oriented as you would expect a talented engineer to be, but it was his openness and willingness to question the status quo that made us absolutely have to have him on our team. He’s already got an incredible profile extrusion process line running on our factory floor, and we’ve heard rumors he’s got another one waiting in the wings. Speaking of wings, we hear that Joe was a commercial pilot in another life, and something of a time traveler: he’s flown something called a Ford Tri-Motor that was built the same year the stock market crashed and the Great Depression started (though we’re like 90% sure Joe wasn’t involved).
