It works like this

You come to us with the unique problem or need you’re facing. We might find a way to solve it through a novel use of an existing product we manufacture. Or, we may realize that a small modification to an existing product would solve your problem in a cost-effective, reproducible way.

If what you need is an OEM part for one of your products that can be made through TPV profile extrusion, we have one of the largest profile extruders in the country we can use. Lastly, if it makes financial sense for both of us, we can design and manufacture a brand new product that precisely solves your problem.

Big Box Bottleneck

A big box store had a terrible bottleneck in traffic flow at one of their distribution centers. Trucks were getting stuck in a little dip right before a big ramp. Pouring concrete on top of more concrete was asking for trouble.

So we engineered a customized version of our speed table that would step trucks up to the right height. It’s 100% recycled, easy to install, and if they ever need a change, easy to remove as well. It’s modular, so if any sections fail over time, it’s easy to replace. It totally solves their problem, and can be reproduced if they ever encounter the same issue elsewhere.

That’s the essence of a Made for You project. We solve your exact problem, and the product we design is reproducible (even at scale) if you need it.

Simpler Sustainable Signage

The Metropolitan Airport Authority of Peoria (MAAP) needed more durable and adaptable signage designating parking lot aisles and car rental parking spots. Their existing signage was difficult to maintain, alter, and relocate as needed.

We fabricated a non-perforated square metal sign post in a T frame configuration. We powder coated/painted with MAAP’s custom colors and drilled holes on the 2 arms to mount the aisle/space signs. If used with our Sign Bases, the sign posts would be easy to install and relocate too.

Temporary Signage Made Super Simple

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) had a problem: whenever the San Francisco 49ers had a game at their new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, they had to run specific trains on a changed schedule. There was a surge of new mass transit riders and no good way to quickly route them to the trains they needed.

We worked with the designers at the IBI Group and developed a quick deployable mass transit cueing system: we used our Sign Bases with Base Weights, custom fabricated galvanized round metal sign posts, a quick disconnect system for attaching the sign posts together, reflective sign banners, and bungle cords to attach the signs to the 8-foot sign posts. RubberForm also fabricated a Sign Base Cart to move the 150 pounds’ Sign Base System. No large crews or special training needed.

Spill Containment You Can Drive Over

The G.R. Birdwell Construction company in Texas required a heavy-duty Drive-Over Spill Containment Berm system (Secondary Containment Berm) for a new bulk liquid container facility, as well as a separate containment berm for wastewater in the same area. But these berms needed to be easy to install, easy to remove, and durable enough to last for decades.

We worked with the engineers at G.R. Birdwell Construction and proposed a 3” high drive-over Spill Containment Berm along with our 4” high, chemical resistant EPDM solid rubber Secondary Containment Berm. We modified our 4” Speed Bump to a 3” tall solid molded, durable Spill Berm. This gave RubberForm 2 new solutions: a 3” high Drive-Over Containment Berm and a 3” high Speed Bump to be added to RubberForm’s American-made recycled material product offerings.
