Product Description

Most traffic calming methods are a huge pain. Concrete and asphalt speed bumps are difficult and time-consuming to install. They’re even harder to remove later when your needs change. They’re ugly, and when they chip, crack, and crumble (and they will), they stop working well–and somehow get uglier.

RubberForm SB-10 Speed Bumps are blessedly easy and convenient. They’re simple to install and just as easy to remove or relocate later. Their thermoplastic reflective safety arrows maintain high visibility at night, in fog, rain, or snow. They’re made to slow vehicle traffic below 10 miles per hour for pedestrian safety.

Our speed bumps are carefully innovated to withstand every possible environment you might want to install them in. They won’t melt in the searing summer sun or shatter in the frigid cold. They’re unaffected by rain, ice, or snow.  Our 100% American recycled rubber won’t chip, warp, or spall either.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What are the dimensions of the SB-10?

The SB-10 speed bump has a modular 2-1/4” high x 10” wide x 24” long center section that can fit any width of road. End cap sections are the same size. The SB-10 slows traffic below 10 mph.

How are your speed bumps anchored down?

We offer a lag bolt anchor mounting system consisting of a lag bolt, plastic lag shield, and washer to anchor into pavement or concrete. There are 4 anchor holes for each MLSB section and SB-10 section. For temporary situations, you can just simply lay the MLSB down.

What is the turnaround time for your speed bumps and speed humps?

Our speed bumps and speed humps are usually in stock and can be shipped out the following day. Larger orders (greater than 100 units) will take longer. Let us know your project timeline and we’ll work to accommodate your delivery needs.

Can we remove your speed bumps or speed humps for the winter when our snowplows are on the roads?

Yes, if you need to remove them for the winter, just unbolt and store for the season. If needed, seal the holes with any silicone-based material so water, dirt, and rocks do not get lodged in them.

Can your speed bumps or speed humps be installed on a gravel road?

Our MLSB speed bump is ideal for gravel and dirt roads. Our other speed bumps and speed humps are recommended for asphalt or concrete.

Are your speed bumps and speed humps truly made in the USA?

We are the only true U.S. manufacturer of recycled composite plastic speed bumps and speed humps. We source all our recycled materials domestically, which means we're helping clean up our backyard. We also design and manufacture all our products right here in Western New York, because we believe in American ingenuity and hardworking American hands.
